Real experience

Food was decent, next time we are in town we’d like to try other things off the menu!! We do recommend the Texas Philly though! The chicken tenders were nothing special but still good.

The service was great despite being super busy and chaotic the wait wasn’t as long as expected.

The staff here was very kind and helpful! The atmosphere was that of an old school diner. They have a jukebox by the entrance door that you can put a quarter in and choose a classic! The food isn’t the best diner food I’ve ever had but the portions are great.

Everything was phenomenal. I had a burger and it was one of the best burgers i have ever had. They had a juke box that had some awesome classics on it. My waitress was helpful, kind and super friendly. I even got to chat with another table. It was a great time. I highly recommend it.

I’ve loved The Shiny Diner since it came to Cary years ago.
They have a great variety of delicious food, their prices are very reasonable, the staff is so nice and helpful, and I love playing the old tunes on the jukebox.
So much fun!
I usually get breakfast types of meals for brunches when I visit but I have had other items on the menu and they’ve all been delicious!
The Shiny Diner Is the perfect place to bring the family or catch up with friends.

we got the root beer float, waffles , grits, bacon and sweet teas everything was fire and especially them grits. parking was a bit small and so was the inside but otherwise the food came quick and super fresh. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere definitely a 10/10 customer service.

There was a wait upon arrival and a family of seven had been waiting to be sat. However staff was very communicative and let us know they’ll be with a table shortly. Cleanest restrooms I’ve seen in a restaurant for a long time now.
Classic 50s dinner . Very nice and clean. Had a small juke box in each table to play music.
Food was amazing, taste is very good. Definitely do recommend , eggs were cooked perfectly. I did order breakfast and they had the best grits I’ve had in a while as well.

Servers were ontop of refills and constantly checking in tables. There was a grumpy older man next to us kept being rude to staff but the servers kept going and attending him and they were very understanding and kept their cool. They were rotating the servers to check on him and I was amazed how patient they were with him. Will be back next time I’m in area. Thank you again for an amazing visit

The place is spotless, which we love. The hostess was super helpful helping us decide what to get. She took the time to chat with us and talk about some of the most popular items. Our waitress Jennifer was the best. She has so much personality, had us laughing the entire time. She also made sure our drinks were filled and came back often to check on us. I had the Philly cheesesteak and onion rings with an Oreo milkshake. Had to roll me out of the diner  We truly had a great experience.
